Rick's Bio
Rick Redmon is a lifelong resident of Montgomery and Elmore counties. While growing up in rural south Montgomery county, Rick loved to hunt and fish at an early age. He developed a passion that never failed for the outdoors. In 1966 Rick observed the State Game Department release a truck load of deer and turkey on his grandfathers farm. This event peaked his interest in deer hunting and since then has been an avid deer hunter both with gun and bow and has countless trophies to his credit.
In 1990 Rick turned his interest to bass fishing and since then has fished numerous local and regional tournaments and is well known in those circles.
During the past 40 years of being and outdoorsman, Rick is well schooled in all types of hunting, fishing, and has also developed a love for sporting clay shooting.
In 2002 Rick began the television show “Central Alabama Outdoors” with Curt Gantt, which ran through 2004.
In his personal life, Rick has had a distinguished career as a mortgage lender and is the Vice President of Keystone Financial Corporation. He lives with his wife Gretchen in Wetumpka.
